Walkathon

Walkathon is our primary fundraiser and most exciting all-school event of the year. Students of all grades walk laps around campus, collecting donations from family, friends, and neighbors for each circuit they complete. Walkathon represents a tremendous grass-roots effort as hundreds of families come together to support their own school. Please lend us a hand with whatever talents you possess.

eScrip

Sign up your Safeway Club Card at http://www.eScrip.com. We are registered under 'Pact School', ID# 500003982 . Every time Use your Safeway Club Card (or registered phone number) whenever you shop at Safeway, a percentage of your purchase benefits Stevenson PACT School. Optionally, when you register your credit card(s), Stevenson PACT School receives a percentage of your purchase from participating merchants (such as Eddie Bauer, Kepler's Books, Whole Foods Markets, and many more). Do your online shopping via the eScrip Online Mall and your online purchases will benefit Stevenson PACT School. Ask your friends and family to support your child's school by giving you their Safeway Club Card numbers, which you can add to your eScrip account.

Nob Hill Grocery

Stevenson PACT School is set up with Nob Hill Cards. When you check out, simply hand them the card and they scan it. A percentage of your purchase will benefit Stevenson PACT. If you already have a Nob Hill card, you can sign on and change your organization to "Stevenson School". If you need a card, please let me know and I can drop off in your child's box at school.

Box Tops for Education

Box Top coupons appear on hundreds of General Mills products and partnering brands, like Cheerios, Betty Crocker, Hefty, Juicy Juice, Ziploc, Kleenex and many more. Please clip these coupons and bring them into the school office or your child's classroom.

Gift/Scrip Cards

Buying your gift cards through Stevenson PACT School will contribute up to 18% from your purchase at no cost to you. Gift/Scrip cards are available for hundreds of stores. I anticipate placing a Stevenson PACT School gift card order 3-4 times per year, possibly more if there is enough interest. Information about upcoming orders will appear in the weekly newsletters.

Target

If you shop at Target, and have a Target Red Card, free to you, your card can generate 1% for Stevenson PACT School via the Take Charge of Education Program. Register for Stevenson Elementary School (ID #151343) at www.target.com/tcoe or call Target at 1-800-316-6142.

Amazon.com

Access the Amazon.com website via a link from the Stevenson PACT School website. A percentage of your purchase will be donated to Stevenson PACT School - at no cost to you!  This can be combined with Amazon.com gift certificate from Script order.

Corporate Matching Donations

Many corporations will match your donation to Stevenson PACT School, thus doubling your contribution to our school.

Office Depot

Stevenson participates in Office Depot's 5% Back to Schools program, in which a designated school receives merchandise credit of 5% of "qualifying school supplies" purchases. Stevenson is enrolled under the name "Stevenson Elementary School" with ID #70221739. Because Stevenson is brand-new to this program, for the time being you will probably need to provide the ID # to the cashier. If you have recently shopped at Office Depot, did not designate a school, and have your receipt, you can still credit Stevenson by bringing your receipt and the ID # to a local store.

Recycling

One PACT parent has organized a recycling drive - every Wednesday, PACT parents are invited to bring their recyclables to Ellen in her blue Mazda.  She will collect and redeem the recyclables at the local center.  Last year, participating PACT families earned several hundred dollars through these efforts!

Bring in your plastic water and sports drink bottles at Drop Off on Wednesdays and the $0.05 CRV will be donated to PACT Foundation. If every family brought 5 plastic bottles in for the remaining 26 weeks of school, we can raise $1,300 with out writing a single check! If they are 2-liter bottles, those 26,000 plastic bottles could make 7 Patagonia fleece jackets while saving 7 barrels of oil (- 300 gallons) and preventing the emission of over 3 tons of toxic air emissions!.
